Student Computer Initiative
The School of Engineering computer hardware and software requirements for entering freshmen mirror those of the university. The only additional requirement for the School of Engineering is an ink-jet or laser printer. The school is phasing out the use of Zip drives in favor of CD-RW drives and USB memory keys (flash drives). In addition to the Microsoft Office suite of programs, we make use of appropriately licensed software, which will be available to you as needed.
