Since its beginning the Lab has developed a wide range of systems including cardiac diagnostic systems, knowledge discovery systems, systems for NDE testing and design of advanced materials, and programs for computational biology. We have modeled organization and reorganization of the somatosensory cortex with a network of spiking neurons, developed biologically-inspired learning rules, and modeled synaptic glutamate release mechanism. We also developed a host of machine learning and discretization algorithms as well as algorithms for image recognition. Some of the projects can be seen at:
