Life at VCU

From traditional-style dorms to on-campus apartments, living on campus provides you the opportunity to experience campus life to the fullest. With almost 200 student organizations, 16 NCAA Division I sporting teams, workout facilities, art exhibits, concerts and theater productions, life at VCU offers a little something for everyone.

In the School of Engineering, we take pride in offering a comfortable community atmosphere. Our facilities offer student study areas for collaborative work on assignments and special projects and both our state of the art buildings offer wireless connectivity. Midweek, we break for a cookout and our faculty and students gather together regularly for coffee, bagels and donuts in our West Hall lobby — both events providing the chance to relax and get to know fellow students, faculty and administrators.
