The mission of the Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Chemical and Life Science Engineering is to provide academic, educational and research programs of national repute that will attract and foster undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty into current and developing areas of chemical and life science engineering, and be a center of excellence that provides a new paradigm in the methods of academic education and research.
