Facilities
The VCU School of Engineering occupies nearly 300,000 square feet of space located in two buildings on the Monroe Park Campus. West Hall, which includes the C. Kenneth and Diane Harris Wright Virginia Microelectronics Center, was completed in 1998, encompassing 147,000 square feet at a cost of $42 million. After an ambitious $67 million campaign, the school added the 120,000-square-foot East Hall in 2008 and the Institute for Engineering and Medicine , a 25,000-square-foot addition to West Hall, the following year.
