Academic Programs

We're pleased that you are exploring the School of Engineering. We offer innovative programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We pride ourselves on small class sizes, allowing us to really get to know you and your educational and professional goals.

Our faculty, many of whom have industry experience, spend one-to-one time with students, mentoring their ideas and creating a multitude of research opportunities in the areas of:

• biomedical engineering
• chemical and life science engineering
• computer engineering
• computer science
• electrical engineering
• mechanical engineering

With careful planning, undergraduate students can earn a minor in business or prepare for future study in the VCU Master of Business Administration program.

We also take part in a statewide partnership, the Commonwealth Graduate Engineering Program. Coordinated by VCU, this program enables you to take additional graduate courses from the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech and Old Dominion University via interactive video telecommunications.
