  • Preparation of aerogel catalysts using supercritical extraction, investigation of parameters that affect the extraction efficiency, and comparison of physical and chemical properties of aerogels with that of xerogels
  • Simultaneous chelation and supercritical extraction for remediation of heavy metals from aqueous solutions
  • Solubility of pharmaceutical drugs in supercritical fluids and modeling of supercritical solubility
  • Impregnation of pharmaceutical drugs on biodegradable polymer matrices using supercritical fluids, determination of adsorption isotherms, and modeling of the adsorption/desorption process
  • Dynamic light scattering (DLS) and small angle neutron scattering (SANS) to investigate the response of a polymer coil to a supercritical fluid environment
  • Preparation of nano-structured materials and nano-composite polymeric particles using supercritical fluid technology
  • Advanced polymer coatings for the preparation of gas separation membranes and miniature sensors
